Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections, calibrations, and preventive maintenance on automated equipment and control systems Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and calibration instruments Read and interpret electrical schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), control schematics, and electrical blueprints Maintain and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), sensors, vision inspection systems, and industrial controls Diagnose complex electrical problems using electrical safety procedures and engineering troubleshooting techniques Support field service activities by installing, commissioning, and calibrating new automation equipment Conduct equipment troubleshooting to minimize downtime and optimize system performance Follow electrical safety procedures during all maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment Document maintenance activities accurately in maintenance management systems Collaborate with engineering teams on programming in engineering environments such as Calypso or similar platforms
Skills:
Extensive experience with industrial electrician tasks including electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and industrial automation components Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, P&IDs, schematics, and blueprints Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS) Familiarity with calibration procedures for sensors and instrumentation devices Ability to interpret electrical instrumentation diagrams and perform precise measurements using instruments like ohmmeters Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems within industrial environments Experience with vision inspection systems such as Calypso or similar platforms Skilled in programming in engineering environments for automation control optimization Strong troubleshooting skills combined with mechanical knowledge for comprehensive equipment maintenance Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting This position is ideal for dedicated professionals seeking an engaging role with significant overtime potential.
