Support engineering activities including design, testing, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems, experimental circuitry, laser/light transmission devices, and specialized test equipment.

Analyze circuit schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to isolate electronic faults and determine corrective actions.

Operate diagnostic and electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, signal generators, and multimeters.

Apply electronics principles including Ohm's law, Kirchhoff's laws, transistor theory, operational amplifiers, digital logic, and power conversion to troubleshoot equipment and circuitry.

Identify failed or out-of-specification electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, integrated circuits, and power devices.

Conduct functional and environmental testing to validate repairs and confirm equipment performance.

Document failure modes, root causes, test results, repairs, and corrective actions in applicable maintenance or quality systems.

Provide technical troubleshooting and test support to production, engineering, and quality teams.

Assist with the development and improvement of troubleshooting procedures, test plans, repair instructions, and technical documentation.
