Immediately Hiring Automation Maintenance Technicians in the Hanover, PA area.

Shifts Available:

Shift 3: 6:30 AM

•6:30 PM, Saturday-Monday Shift 4: 6:30 PM

AM, Saturday-Monday Wage Range:

$20

•30/hr depending on experience. Our client is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Automation Maintenance Technician for a temp-to-perm opportunity . The Automation Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated material handling systems and associated equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills , experience with automated warehouse or distribution systems, and the ability to diagnose and repair PLC-controlled equipment . Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair automated material handling equipment, including: Conveyors ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) cranes Mini-load shuttle systems Other automated warehouse equipment Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on industrial and PLC-controlled equipment Troubleshoot AC electrical systems up to 480 VAC and DC control circuits Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and assembly drawings Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems and utilize basic ladder logic knowledge Identify potential equipment problems before they result in failures or downtime Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and equipment issues Communicate parts, tools, and supply requirements to leadership Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow OSHA requirements, company safety policies, and established safe work practices Required Technical SkillsElectrical Ability to troubleshoot AC electrical systems up to 480 VAC Understanding of DC control circuits Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics Experience diagnosing electrical faults and control system issues PLC troubleshooting experience Basic ladder logic knowledge Mechanical Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Ability to read blueprints and assembly drawings Knowledge of industrial maintenance tools, equipment, materials, and practices Industrial Maintenance Previous experience with preventive maintenance programs Experience maintaining material handling equipment Knowledge of building and equipment systems maintenance Experience troubleshooting automated warehouse or distribution equipment is highly preferred Computer Skills Basic proficiency with Microsoft Windows Ability to use maintenance management software, RF devices, computers, and electronic displays Ability to accurately enter and retrieve maintenance information electronically Ideal Candidate Qualified candidates will have: Previous industrial maintenance experience Electrical troubleshooting experience up to 480V PLC troubleshooting and ladder logic experience Experience with conveyors and automated warehouse systems Preventive maintenance experience Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities Strong safety awareness and knowledge of OSHA compliance Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a maintenance team Ability to read schematics Schedule & Work Environment This position requires the ability to work an assigned 12-hour weekend shift and respond effectively to equipment issues in a fast-paced, highly automated environment. Candidates must be comfortable working with industrial automation and material handling systems while following all required safety procedures. Why Apply?
