Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Repair Technician and become a vital contributor to maintaining and restoring electrical systems across diverse industrial and commercial environments. In this energetic role, you will leverage your expertise in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair to ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. Your hands-on skills with electrical schematic reading, soldering, and electronic equipment testing will drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Duties Diagnose electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and interpret electrical schematics to identify root causes of system failures. Perform repairs on a variety of electrical equipment, including AC/DC systems, electronic systems, and low voltage circuits. Utilize hand tools, soldering irons, ohmmeters, and other specialized equipment to execute precise repairs and component replacements. Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent future failures and extend equipment lifespan. Test electronic components and systems thoroughly to ensure proper functionality before returning equipment to service. Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics accurately for installation, troubleshooting, and repair tasks. Provide field service support by traveling to customer sites or job locations to perform on-site repairs and diagnostics while delivering excellent customer service. Requirements Proven experience as a Service Technician or Electrical Repair Technician with a strong background in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic testing devices. Skilled in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting documents. Hands-on experience with electrical soldering, electronic equipment testing, and repairing AC/DC electrical systems. Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity with computer hardware and computer networking principles is highly desirable. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately for effective repairs. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members. Physical ability to perform field service tasks that may require standing, walking, lifting heavy equipment, or working in confined spaces.
