Job Title:
Assembly Technician Job Description We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling parts into large sub-assemblies, units, or systems, and ensuring that all assembled units meet standard quality tests. Responsibilities + Follow detailed instructions to assemble parts into large sub-assemblies, units, or systems. + Troubleshoot and rework assembled units that fail standard tests. + Collaborate with engineers in the modification or repair of sub-assemblies and systems. + Assist with incoming receiving inspection and quality control following company procedures. + Participate in inventory stock taking and assist in inventory control procedures. Essential Skills + Proficiency in assembly, electronics, and wiring. + Strong troubleshooting skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent is preferred. + 0-1+ years of technician experience is preferred. Work Environment The role is based in a cell manufacturing environment, which requires adherence to specific safety and operational procedures. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Pittsburgh, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
