Thermo Electric is looking for a Calibration & Functional Test Technician to join our manufacturing team in West Chester, PA. In this hands-on technical role, you will test and calibrate temperature sensors and finished products to ensure they meet our quality and performance standards. You'll work with test equipment, record and track results, troubleshoot basic equipment issues, and collaborate with Production, Manufacturing, and Quality. Previous calibration experience is helpful, but we are also interested in candidates with related electronics, instrumentation, testing, or manufacturing experience who are willing to learn. Set up and operate calibration and test equipment. Accurately record test results and maintain material and product traceability. Process testing and calibration work orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain calibration laboratory equipment, instruments, tools, and materials. Assist with basic troubleshooting of test equipment and identify issues requiring additional technical support. Track orders and materials as they move through the testing process. Enter and maintain testing and production information in company systems. Create, transfer, and share documents using Microsoft 365. Communicate testing status, delays, concerns, and production updates to supervisors and team members. Support Production, Manufacturing, and Quality with additional testing as needed. Participate in process improvement efforts. Maintain an organized work area and contribute to a safe, respectful, and collaborative workplace. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Hands-on experience or training in electronics, electrical systems, instrumentation, production testing, calibration, or a related technical/manufacturing environment. Basic understanding of electrical or electronic troubleshooting. Comfortable using test equipment, hand tools, and computers. Ability to accurately enter, record, and review test data. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures. Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment. Qualifications Preferred 1-3 years of related technical, testing, calibration, electronics, or manufacturing experience. Experience using calibration, measurement, or electronic test equipment. Associate degree or technical training in Electronic Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Precision Measurement Technology, Instrumentation and Control Technology, or a related field.
