Job Title:
Engineering Tech B - 2nd Shift Job Description We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to conduct, maintain, test, and repair electrical and electronic components at an advanced level. This role requires a professional who is adept at diagnosing and resolving intricate technical challenges, with a strong ability to interpret sophisticated schematics and provide training and support to other technicians. Responsibilities Test, diagnose, and repair electronic components. Analyze issues down to the component level and resolve intricate technical challenges. Interpret sophisticated schematics and provide training and support to other technicians in repair processes. Comply with quality performance standards. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Essential Skills Minimum of a 2-year Electronics degree or equivalent Electronics certification. 2+ years as a proficient electronics technician. Experience with integrated circuits and electronic troubleshooting. Proficiency in soldering and de-soldering techniques, including both thru-hole and surface-mount soldering on PCBs. Ability to utilize analytical thinking and robust problem-solving skills to troubleshoot at the component level. Additional Skills & Qualifications Soldering experience on printed circuit boards is preferred. Experience with electronic repair work on motherboards/circuit boards. Proficiency in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing at the component level, specifically with radio antennas and amplifier transmitters. Required to pass a Technical Aptitude Test, when applicable. Thorough comprehension of various technology systems and applications, including in-depth knowledge of electronic circuit componentry and theory. Proficiency in utilizing test equipment. Ability to handle Hard Drive devices while adhering to ESD policy standards. Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work autonomously as well as in a team environment. Attention to detail and thoroughness in task completion. Work Environment This position operates on a 2nd shift schedule from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The work environment includes advanced electronic testing and repair equipment, requiring adherence to safety and quality standards. Team collaboration and independent work are both essential aspects of this role. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Chester, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
