Talent & Strategy is partnering with a corrugated packaging manufacturer seeking an Industrial Automation & Controls Technician to support automated production equipment and keep operations running safely and reliably. We're interested in hands-on troubleshooters from a variety of manufacturing backgrounds. Whether your title has been Automation Technician, Controls Technician, Electrical Maintenance Technician, or Industrial Maintenance Technician, your ability to diagnose problems and find practical solutions is what matters. Multiple shifts are available. Please include your preferred shift when applying. What You'll Do Troubleshoot electrical, controls, and automation issues on manufacturing equipment. Use PLC diagnostics to identify faults and support equipment repairs. Troubleshoot sensors, motors, drives, control panels, and related components. Read electrical schematics and technical documentation to diagnose problems. Perform preventive maintenance and help identify issues before they cause downtime. Work with maintenance and production teams to restore equipment operation and address recurring failures. Support equipment improvements, installations, and upgrades. Document repairs and communicate equipment status across shifts. Follow lockout/tagout and established electrical and machine safety procedures. What You Bring Hands-on experience troubleshooting automated equipment in a manufacturing or industrial setting. A solid foundation in industrial electrical systems and machine controls. Experience using PLCs and HMIs for troubleshooting. The ability to read electrical schematics and use diagnostic tools. A practical, methodical approach to solving equipment problems. The ability to work independently and collaborate with maintenance and production teammates. A strong commitment to safety, reliability, and quality workmanship. Experience That Stands Out Experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens controls, variable frequency drives, automated material handling, or corrugated and packaging equipment is especially valuable. Technical training in automation, electrical technology, mechatronics, or a related field is a plus. Manufacturing experience from other industries is welcome.
