Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an Experienced Control Systems Integrator to join our team supporting water and wastewater projects. This position is focused on the design, programming, integration, startup, and support of Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, instrumentation, and related industrial networking. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, solving problems in the field, and delivering practical automation solutions for municipal and industrial utility clients. This role is well suited for someone who understands both the technical and real-world operational side of water and wastewater systems. Responsibilities Design and develop control system solutions for water and wastewater facilities Program, troubleshoot, and modify Allen-Bradley PLC systems Develop and maintain HMI and SCADA applications Configure and troubleshoot industrial communications and networking Integrate field instrumentation, analyzers, VFDs, MCCs, and packaged equipment Perform system testing, startup, commissioning, and field support Work with operators, engineers, electricians, contractors, and end users to solve control issues Review plans, specifications, P&IDs, control narratives, and submittals Prepare or assist with control panel layouts, I/O lists, functional descriptions, and documentation Provide technical support for existing customer systems, upgrades, and service calls Assist in maintaining project schedules, scope, and technical quality Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Experience in industrial automation , controls integration , or
SCADA/PLC
programming Strong experience with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation and other platforms Experience with PLC programming, HMI development, SCADA computers, and troubleshooting Understanding of industrial control panels, instrumentation, motor controls, and field devices Working knowledge of Ethernet/IP and industrial communication protocols Ability to read electrical drawings, P&IDs, and control schematics Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with limited supervision Good communication skills and ability to work directly with customers Valid driver's license, good driving record, and willingness to travel to project sites as needed Preferred Qualifications Experience in water and wastewater systems Experience with FactoryTalk View , Studio 5000 , and Rockwell networking products Familiarity with telemetry, remote sites, radio communications, cellular communications, fiber, LAN/WAN, routing, networking, and utility infrastructure Experience with VFDs, pump controls, lift stations, treatment plants, chemical analyzers, filters, RO, and pressure/flow instrumentation Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field or education + significant experience Field startup and commissioning experience Knowledge of UL 508A panels, networking, cybersecurity, or system documentation standards What We're Looking For A self-starter who can think through problems and finish projects Someone practical, organized, and dependable A person who is comfortable in both office and field environments Someone who takes pride in building systems that work reliably in real facilities A team member who values quality, responsiveness, and customer trust Compensation and Benefits Compensation depends on experience, technical capability, independence in the field, and Allen-Bradley/Rockwell proficiency.
