This position is a Product Development Technician, that includes work in Calibration, Development, and Durability testing of Engines, Powertrains, and/or Transmissions. The individual must possess strong problem solving skills, sound mechanical background and attention to detail. In this position... Conduct Calibration, Development, and Durability testing of Engines, Powertrains, and/or Transmissions using a Dynamometer and associated Emissions, Combustion Analysis, and Environmental testing systems. EGR, Cyl/Cyl distribution, Pre-ignition, PT calibration testing, Transmission Calibration testing, Shift profile and calibration testing, Transient testing, Durability, Cold and Hot environmental testing. Must have a working knowledge of general diesel and gasoline engine operation; Perform troubleshooting and modifications to engines and various other test articles. You'll have... High School diploma or equivalent. 2+ year experience working with general diesel and gasoline engine operation. Even better, you may have... 3+ years' of experience in testing Gasoline/Diesel Engines/Powertrains with dynamometers in one or more of the following categories: Assembly, Development, Mapping, Durability, Certification, Powertrain and Environmental Development Dyna cell installation and support systems (air handling, environmental, cooling).
