You will lead rocket engine and component testing programs, oversee test stand development, and support launch operations across our methane/LOX propulsion systems. Own Core Responsibilities Lead LNG/LOX rocket engine testing and hot-fire operations Execute cryogenic loading, pressurization, purge, and safing procedures Integrate and test propulsion and flight hardware assemblies Perform leak checks, proof testing, and instrumentation setup Fabricate and commission test stands for integrated and system-level testing Partner with engineering on high-energy test safety requirements and reviews Support launch site operations and pad activities Lead and mentor technicians Develop test procedures and safety documentation

Produce Clear Deliverables:

Commissioned test stands and GSE, validated test procedures, completed hot-fire and proof test campaigns, and up-to-date safety documentation Impacts and Outcomes

• Keep hot-fire test campaigns on schedule to support engine development and launch milestones
• Deliver commissioned, flight-ready test stands and validated hot-fire data, not just completed tasks
• Own test operations end-to-end, from cryogenic loading and safing procedures through post-test teardown
• Uphold rigorous safety and quality standards in every high-energy, high-pressure, and cryogenic test operation
• Identify and mitigate risks in test stand design, hardware integration, and hot-fire operations before they impact schedule or safety
• Lead technician teams and make real-time calls during hot-fire and launch pad operations What You Bring to the Team 5+ years of aerospace integration or propulsion testing experience Experience with cryogenic and high-pressure systems Test stand fabrication and commissioning experience Ability to interpret P&IDs and engineering drawings Ability to learn new tools, systems, or domains as needed Bonus Points LNG/LOX engine hot-fire testing Orbital tube welding Environmental testing Launch operations support Education & Certifications FAA A&P training preferred High-energy systems safety training Compensation Hourly Pay Range Level 1 (1-3 years): $19.

23 - $36.06 / hour Level 2 (3-5 years): $33.00 - $48.07 / hour Level 3 (5-9 years): $45.00 - $62.50 / hour Level 4 (10+ years): $50.00 - $72.12 / hour The estimated salary range for this role reflects various compensation factors. The final offer depends on factors such as work experience, education, training, key skills, and business needs.
