Job Description

Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician Duncan, SC Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician with a strong background in automotive manufacturing to join our maintenance team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventative maintenance programs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on manufacturing equipment. Diagnose production equipment failures and perform corrective maintenance to minimize downtime. Perform and document preventative maintenance (PM) activities on production machinery and facility equipment. Troubleshoot and support Allen Bradley PLC-controlled equipment, identifying issues with sensors, drives, motors, and control systems. Install, maintain, and repair motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, robotics, and automated manufacturing equipment. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, productivity, and safety. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring equipment failures. Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders. Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Participate in safety meetings and support compliance with quality and environmental standards. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree, technical diploma, or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field. Experience with robotics, automated assembly equipment, or vision systems. Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Root Cause Analysis methodologies. Knowledge of
IATF 16949, ISO
9001, or other automotive manufacturing standards. Experience with plastic extrusion
Pay:
$36.00 - $41.00 per hour
