Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic "A" Level to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, and vehicle systems. As well as some electrical diagnosis. We do not service transmissions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a growing company that is individually owned and operated. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance and repair tasks as well as their own tools to perform every repair needed. We do not provide tools, just the equipment for lifting and aligning the vehicles as well as performing some tire work. This is a flat rate position with a weekly guarantee for pay. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, suspension work, and some electrical diag. Perform a digital inspection of every vehicle Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized machinery to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues involving hydraulics, alignment problems, mechanical systems repair, and automotive electrical systems. Maintain detailed records of all service activities, parts used, and repairs performed for compliance and future reference. Assist with assembly and disassembly of equipment during repairs or upgrades while adhering to safety standards. Requirements Proven experience working in a dealership or another mechanic shop environment with a strong background in automotive diagnostics. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems including suspensions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures as well as internals of engines. Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering for custom repairs or modifications. Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical manuals for troubleshooting complex vehicle issues. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic devices required for operation and repair. ASE certification's preffered. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients about repair needs and solutions. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate shop equipment such as Hunter alignment machine and Hunter tire machine when necessary. Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
