Job Description

Start your new career as an Engineering Technician with MAU at our client in Liberty, SC. As an Engineering Technician, you will work alongside engineers to build, test, troubleshoot, and improve electronic and mechanical products while supporting product development and manufacturing.
What We Offer:
Pay:
$60,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience
Shift:
8:00 AM-5:00 PM; hours may vary Hands-on experience supporting real-world product development Opportunity to work closely with Engineering and Production teams Exposure to electronics, prototypes, testing, troubleshooting, and manufacturing
What We're Looking For:
Associate degree in Engineering Technology or a related technical field preferred 1-2 years of fine-pitch circuit board soldering experience Experience working with SMT and through-hole components Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics Experience with schematic capture and PCB/board layout Product prototyping and troubleshooting experience Mechanical fabrication experience is a plus Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Experience with Altium Designer, PCI/PCIe, USB, Ethernet, RS232, RS422, RS485, digital I/O, circuit board assembly, and electronic testing equipment is highly desirable What You'll Do as an
Engineering Technician:
Support engineers with product design, development, testing, and manufacturing Build, modify, and test electronic and mechanical prototypes Perform circuit board testing, troubleshooting, and repairs Conduct engineering experiments, collect data, and document results Use electrical and diagnostic equipment to evaluate products and components Perform board-level soldering , including fine-pitch SMT and through-hole components Read and interpret electrical schematics and assist with basic schematic development Assist with PCB/board layout, product evaluation, and testing Support BOM maintenance, component research, and technical documentation Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to solve technical problems and meet deadlines

$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
