Job Description

Burrow Global has an immediate need for an experienced Sr . Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician for a project in Charleston, South Carolina. This position will last three months, will be on-site, and we need someone who can mobilize and begin work as soon as possible. Scope of Work The technician will provide hands-on I&E maintenance and troubleshooting support in an operating terminal environment, including: Troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, calibrating, and replacing industrial instrumentation and electrical equipment Working with transmitters, switches, control valves, analyzers, and other field instrumentation equipment. Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance of motors, motor controls, starters, VFDs, panels, and associated equipment Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, P&IDs, and equipment documentation Performing instrument calibration, loop checks, functional testing, and troubleshooting of control/instrumentation circuits Diagnosing equipment failures and performing corrective and preventive maintenance Candidate Requirements Journeyman-level I&E experience in a chemical, petrochemical, or terminal environment Working knowledge of NEC, electrical safe-work practices, and classified-area installations Trained in permits, LOTO, confined space, fall protection, respiratory protection, and PPE/FRC requirements TWIC card required, or ability to obtain prior to start Able to work outdoors, climb tanks/structures, operate lifts, and carry tools Must pass client site orientation, background check, and drug screen requirements.
