We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Part-Time Mechatronics / Industrial Automation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge or educational experience in mechatronics, automotive electrical systems, industrial electrical work, PLC programming, automation, or related technical fields. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for part-time work while building practical experience in industrial automation, electrical systems, controls, and programming. Responsibilities Depending on experience, responsibilities may include: Assisting with electrical and electronic system troubleshooting Working with sensors, switches, motors, relays, and control systems Assisting with PLC programming, testing, and troubleshooting Reading and understanding electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Supporting installation, testing, and modification of automation equipment Diagnosing basic electrical and control-system issues Assisting with mechanical and electromechanical systems Documenting work, testing results, and technical observations Supporting engineering and technical projects as needed

Qualifications:

Candidates should have education, training, or practical experience in one or more of the following areas: Mechatronics Industrial Electrical / Industrial Electrician Automotive Electrical Systems PLC Programming / Industrial Controls Electrical Engineering Technology Automation Technology Robotics Electromechanical Systems Related technical or vocational training

Preferred Skills:

Basic PLC programming or troubleshooting experience Ability to read electrical schematics Understanding of electrical circuits and components Familiarity with sensors, motors, relays, and actuators Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills Ability to use a multimeter and common electrical tools Computer skills and willingness to learn new software Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability Who We're Looking For We are open to candidates at different experience levels.
