7:00am - 3:30pm with half hour lunch breakDescription:
We are seeking a skilled Shop Technician to join Malloy. This team member will inspect, repair, and troubleshoot electric AC/DC motors, generators, gearboxes, and equipment. Knowledge and experience in the automotive, diesel, and agriculture industries are applicable. - Inspect and test electric motors, generators, and other equipment to diagnose issues.
- Disassemble electric motors and replace or repair defective parts such as bearings, brushes, and coils.
- Reassemble, measure, and test motor performance to meet specifications and quality.
- Maintain repair records and documents of work performed.
- Perform other responsibilities as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Previous technical experience is preferred, and mechanical aptitude is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Own basic hand tools, operating forklifts and overhead cranes is required.
- Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and subject to quarterly screening.
