Now Hiring:
Engineering Technician - Yankton, SD Advance Services is hiring an Engineering Technician for a leading electronics manufacturer in Yankton, SD! If you have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and enjoy supporting automation, equipment improvements, and continuous process improvements, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing engineering team.
Pay:
Starting at $25.00/hour
DOE Job Duties:
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, motion, and control system issues. Repair and replace automation components, including sensors, motors, actuators, drives, valves, tooling, and fixtures. Support equipment setups, changeovers, and qualification runs. Assist with preventative maintenance and calibration activities. Document equipment issues, update troubleshooting guides, and recommend improvements. Support automation improvement projects, equipment modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives. Update work instructions, equipment setup sheets, and training documentation. Maintain organized work areas and follow 5S practices. Follow all safety procedures, including EHS and LOTO requirements. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings. Experience assembling, disassembling, and debugging equipment. Computer proficiency required. Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to learn. Electronics manufacturing experience is a plus.
