Taldeco is looking for a Tube Laser Operator in Nashville, TN! $18 - $24/hr Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC-controlled tube laser cutting machines to process various metal tubes and profiles. Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications to ensure accurate cuts. Program CNC laser machines using appropriate software to optimize cutting paths and efficiency. Conduct routine machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration to ensure optimal performance. Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools for quality inspection of finished parts. Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including proper machine operation procedures and safety standards in production areas. Collaborate with team members on tooling setup, material handling with forklifts or cranes, and assembly processes when necessary. Skills Tube laser experience required. Proficiency in CNC laser cutting technology, CNC programming, and machine operation. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Experience with machining tools such as press brake machines, CNC lathes, milling machines, stamping presses, and forming equipment.
