Location:
Nissan Manufacturing Facility -
Smyrna, TN Shifts:
3rd shift ONLY! Will train on day (1st) shift for 30 days.
Pay:
Based on experience, with increases tied to demonstrated skills and performance.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Under general supervision, to perform preventive mechanical and electronic maintenance and repair work on automatic guided vehicle systems; and to perform other related duties. Self-motivated.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES 1.
Maintains and repairs automatic guided vehicles (AGV), and associated electronic, computer and mechanical equipment through use of standard preventive maintenance practices and proper use of industry standard test equipment. 2. Keeps constant check on wiring components and mechanical devices through use of multi-meters and other accurate measuring devices, specialized test equipment, and keeps accurate records. 3. Repair, troubleshoot and replace printed circuit boards and electronic components as needed. 5. Clears collisions and back-up problems of the system and troubleshoots and corrects vehicle and system errors. 6. Repairs and troubleshoots other mechanical equipment and electronic components.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
The equivalent of two years' full-time experience in the maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment.
Knowledge of:
Common tools, materials, equipment and methods used in the repair of electronic vehicles. Equipment and methods used in welding. Basic electricity. Basic electronics. Computers and software.
Ability to:
Read and understand schematics and ladder relay logic. Understand design techniques in digital electronics. Diagnose and correct vehicle problems. Perform numerical operations. Communicate orally and in writing.
Physical Demands :
Physical duties of job will require employees to stand, walk, and use hands to work with tools, controls, and equipment. Employees will be required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
