Specialty Tires of America is currently accepting applications for an experienced Electronics Technician to join our manufacturing team in Unicoi, Tennessee . If you enjoy troubleshooting complex industrial equipment, working with PLCs, and keeping manufacturing operations running efficiently, we encourage you to apply. Position Summary The Electronics Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical and electronic equipment throughout our manufacturing facility. This position works with single-phase and three-phase electrical systems, PLC-controlled machinery, instrumentation, and automation equipment. Experience with Allen-Bradley (Rockwell) PLCs is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and electronic equipment Diagnose electrical, electronic, PLC, and automation-related issues Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Maintain and troubleshoot single-phase and three-phase electrical systems Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment Work with relay logic, digital interfaces, and analog signals Calibrate instrumentation and process control equipment Repair small circuit boards and perform soldering when needed Assist in improving equipment reliability and minimizing downtime Follow all safety procedures and applicable electrical codes Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED Associate degree in Electrical/Electronics Technology or four (4) years of related industrial experience Working knowledge of electrical theory and state/local electrical codes Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics Strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Experience Industrial electrical maintenance Mechanical troubleshooting PLC programming and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley (Rockwell) Siemens Productivity PLCs Relay ladder logic (approximately 90% of equipment) Analog instrumentation (4-20 m
