Automation Technician

Job Description

MRBRAZ and Associates, PLLC is seeking an individual with at least 3 years of work experience in controls and automation to join our Controls Team. We specialize in engineering, manufacturing, and installing skid packages for Industrial Refrigeration and HVAC applications. Our products are all manufactured and packaged in our facilities located in Azle, TX. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This individual will play an important role in the install, programing, testing, and commissioning of the control systems pertaining to skid packages for Industrial Refrigeration. Programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning of PLC-based control systems. Provide PLC, HMI, and SCADA support for internal and external clients. Troubleshooting AC and DC circuits. On-site testing and commissioning Some overtime may be required. Other duties as assigned. Travel as needed to support projects. Qualifications Experience withPLC's. Experience with SCADA software such as Ignition a plus. Familiar with and ability to read and understand electrical drawings and P&ID's. Experience with factory testing procedures. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures. Display strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work in a fast-paced team environment. Experience with Opto 22, Schneider Electric, and Allen Bradley PLC's is a plus. A background in electronics/electrical is a plus. Experience with industrial refrigeration/HVAC is a plus. Applicant must have a valid driver's license. Applicant must have reliable means of transportation. Applicant must be able to pass a drug test and background check.

$30.00 - $36.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
