Teardown, cleaning, & prep of electronic controls & assemblies.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None .
Duties/Responsibilities:
Disassemble, scrape labels, cleaning, & polishing of electronic controls. Identify different makes & models of electronic controls. Identify worn & burnt PCB's or damaged cases & housing. Make ready good parts for bench techs & assemblers. Help maintain inventory of rebuildable parts. Keep work area clean & organized. Help maintain a safe work environment. Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong verbal & written communication skills. Strong organizational skills & attention to detail. Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to function well in a high-paced & at times stressful environment.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. At least two years related experience preferred. Basic knowledge of working with hand tools & handheld power tools.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a workbench. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
