NPI Technician, Module, Megafactory Tesla Motors, Inc. paid holidays, flex time, 401(k) United States, Texas, Brookshire Jul 02, 2026 What to Expect The NPI Technician is primarily responsible for ensuring the successful launch of the newest Energy products and sub-components, turning new engineering design to mass production. This person is expected to be able to execute against provided manufacturing instructions (if available),validatetheir own work, check the quality ofpreviousoperations, mentor production associates, lead builds in definedarea, and meet schedules. The NPI Technician is expected to be able to provide feedback, define standard work, and suggest process improvements. Experience with hand tools and use of semi-automated manufacturing equipment is necessary. What You'll Do The NPI Engineering Technician willbe responsible forpreparing materials and tools for performing NPI builds, trialing new materials andmaintainingthe various NPI core functions to a high standard Document and verbally provide constructive feedback, define/iterate/document standard work, and suggest process improvements Execute efficiently against provided instructions, self-validate work for accuracy, check the quality ofpreviousoperations, and meet critical deadlines Support field investigations, instrumented/non-Plan of Record builds, and unique projects in support of our cross-functional teams Hands-on product build validation, collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure factory and line readiness as well as ensuring critical timelines are met through effective execution of key milestones SupportOperationsand Projectson the production line as necessary What You'll Bring Minimum of 4 years' experience in assembly of electro-mechanical components Ability to navigate NEC guidelines and knowledge of
NFPA 70E
