Full-Time Compensation:
$25-$30 per hour depending on experience. The Light Park is one of the most dynamic, high-volume drive-thru holiday experiences in the country. This role supports the systems, equipment, inventory software, and field technology that keep our warehouse and show operations moving.
Position Overview:
The Light Park is seeking a local full-time IT Technician in College Station, TX to support warehouse technology, computers, networking, show equipment, and inventory systems. This person will lead setup and day-to-day support for Flex Rental Solutions inventory software, including barcode and RFID tag workflows for warehouse and field equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Own Flex Inventory Setup Lead setup and day-to-day support for Flex Rental Solutions inventory software. Build barcode and RFID tag workflows for warehouse and field equipment. Create inventory processes for checking equipment in/out, labeling gear, tracking locations, and keeping item records accurate. Train and support warehouse staff on Flex usage and equipment tracking. Support IT and Field Technology Troubleshoot computers, tablets, printers, barcode scanners, RFID equipment, network devices, routers, access points, switches, and internet issues. Set up and support show computers, Raspberry Pis / FPP, remote desktop tools, and other field tech. Prepare, test, label, and organize equipment before it goes to show sites. Document equipment locations, device setup notes, IP addresses, inventory procedures, and fixes. Provide occasional field/site support when needed.
Qualifications:
Local to College Station / Bryan with reliable transportation. Comfortable troubleshooting Windows computers and common office / field tech.
Basic networking knowledge:
Wi-Fi, routers, switches, access points, and IP addresses. Comfortable learning and supporting inventory software, barcode scanners, RFID tags, and warehouse equipment tracking. Able to work independently, keep notes, train users, and follow through on fixes.
Preferred Experience:
Flex Rental Solutions or similar inventory/rental software, barcode/RFID systems, Raspberry Pi / FPP, Ubiquiti / UniFi, Windows setup, remote desktop tools, printers, tablets, cameras, low-voltage work, cable management, event tech, warehouse tech, or field tech experience.
