Job Description
Responsible for installing, calibrating, testing, and repairing instruments and technologies that monitor the environmental conditions within a manufacturing facility including:
The Associate I, Instrumentation & Calibration Technical Support (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for installing, calibrating, testing, and repairing instruments that monitor environmental conditions. You will diagnose faults, maintain instruments, and support custom instrument design, requiring technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and reliability.
- Inspecting and testing the operation of instruments/devices (e.g., oscilloscopes, calipers, pressure gauges, and temperature controllers) to diagnose faults
- Installing and maintaining control and measurement instruments on plant equipment
- Testing and measuring heat, light, voltage, amperage, weight, vacuum, magnetic resistance, or various content measurements to ensure conformance with quality standards and controls

Specifics Include:
- Apply technical knowledge to perform tasks and support project goals effectively
- Install, calibrate, test, and repair instruments and technologies monitoring environmental conditions within a manufacturing facility
- Inspect and test the operation of instruments and devices such as oscilloscopes, calipers, pressure gauges, and temperature controllers to diagnose faults
- Install and maintain control and measurement instruments on plant equipment
- Test and measure heat, light, voltage, amperage, weight, vacuum, magnetic resistance, or various content measurements to ensure conformance with quality standards and controls
- Work with engineers to design and build custom instrument and control devices where required
- Follow procedures with some decision-making authority, requiring job-related training, attention to detail, and reliability
- Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training
