The technician will perform routine and non‑routine calibrations on a variety of mechanical, electrical, temperature, pressure, and dimensional instruments, ensuring each piece of equipment meets specified tolerances and traceability requirements. Responsibilities include preparing work orders, setting up equipment, executing calibration procedures, recording data, and generating calibration certificates in compliance with internal quality standards. The ideal candidate holds an associate's degree or technical diploma in engineering technology, physics, or a related field, with at least 2 years of hands‑on calibration experience in a lab environment. Proficiency with calibration software, a solid understanding of measurement uncertainty concepts, and familiarity with safety and environmental regulations are essential. Strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team, and excellent written and verbal communication are required. Basic Qualifications Must be a US Citizen and have ability to obtain a Secret clearance 2 years of hands on calibration experience in a laboratory environment Formal training in a related field Desired Skills Proficiency with calibration software A solid understanding of measurement uncertainty concepts Strong organizational skills The ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent written and verbal communication are required Pay Information $32.64
