Polo, jeans, and steel-toe shoes Job Responsibilities Assist with troubleshooting automated equipment, PLC-controlled systems, sensors, and electrical components Perform routine maintenance on automation and control systems Assist with the installation and startup of new automated equipment Inspect equipment to identify potential issues and ensure safe, efficient operation Assist with replacing sensors, switches, relays, motors, and other automation components Read and interpret basic electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings Assist with PLC diagnostics and troubleshooting under the guidance of senior technicians or maintenance supervisors Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment issues Follow all company safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety requirements Communicate equipment issues and maintenance needs to senior technicians, engineers, and supervisors Support production and maintenance teams to help keep equipment operating efficiently Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Requirements Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to troubleshoot and identify equipment issues Familiarity with automated equipment, sensors, or electrical components is a plus Ability to read basic electrical diagrams or technical drawings is preferred Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic Must be comfortable working in a production/industrial environment This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills in automation and manufacturing maintenance with a company offering long-term potential.
