Industrial Automation Technician Requirements:
3 Years of Industrial or Oil & Gas Automation, Controls, Electrical, E&I, PLC Programming, Industrial Networking, or System Integration OR Combo of Experience of an Engineering or Technical Degree required Able to Read Electrical Schematics and Wiring Diagrams required Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Electrical > Mechanical) preferred Oil & Gas or E&I Equipment Troubleshooting, Testing, Startup, and Commissioning experience preferred Experience with Tank Batteries, Compressor / Meter / Pump Stations, Pipelines, Separation Systems, SWDs, Etc preferred

More Industrial Automation Technician Responsibilities:
This role involves designing, programming, integrating, troubleshooting, commissioning, and supporting industrial automation and control systems for oil & gas facilities Responsibilities include PLC programming, system integration, industrial networking, project coordination, reviewing electrical drawings, startup and commissioning, etc. Additional duties include field troubleshooting, and supporting automation projects from design through implementation Work primarily includes Allen-Bradley PLCs, Rockwell Automation software, SCADA systems, HMIs, RTUs, flow computers, field instrumentation, VFDs, motor controls, industrial control panels, and other process control equipment, with travel to customer job sites throughout West Texas and Southeast New Mexico Please be on the lookout for a (774) area code calling you.
