This role is vital in ensuring the safety, reliability, and proper functioning of electronic systems in environments where hydrogen sulfide (H2S) is present with an emphasis on H2S LEL calibration. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic systems and equipment used in H2S environments Conduct regular inspections and testing of electronic safety devices, sensors, and alarm systems Monitor H2S levels and ensure electronic systems are functioning correctly to detect and alert personnel of hazardous conditions Perform calibration, repairs, and upgrades on electronic components and systems Document maintenance activities, system performance, and safety checks accurately Follow all safety protocols and procedures related to H2S environments and electronic equipment Collaborate with safety teams and other technical personnel to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Electronics Technician, H2S Technician, or similar role Knowledge of electronic systems, sensors, and alarm devices used in hazardous environments Familiarity with H2S detection and safety equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness Relevant certifications in electronics, safety, or H2S detection preferred Ability to work in challenging environments and adhere to strict safety protocols Join our team and contribute to a safety-first culture where innovation and professional growth are valued.
