This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and plant systems to ensure safe and continuous operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical , hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues Diagnose failures using schematics, manuals, and test equipment (multimeters, pressure gauges, vibration tools, etc.)productionsystems, CNC machines, robotics, conveyors, and trim equipment and hydraulic/pneumatic systems performed reliability improvements) Perform repairs and verify equipment is safe and fully operational before returning to Support production equipment including thermoforming machines, FRP/composite Maintain plant utilities such as electrical systems , air compressors, HVAC, water, pumps, Perform preventive maintenance tasks per CMMS work orders and document all work Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Lean, Follow all OSHA safety requirements including lockout/tagout and PPE compliance 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience (mechanical and electrical) Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals Basic PLC and automation troubleshooting experience required Experience in a manufacturing environment Strong safety mindset and ability to work under production pressure Fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequent breakdown response Physically demanding work (standing, bending, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs) Exposure to noise, heat, chemicals, dust, and electrical/mechanical hazards Equipment uptime support Preventive maintenance completion Fast and effective breakdown response (MTTR) Safety compliance #waco1
