MIRO Industries is hiring a full-time Assembler/Automation Technician for the day shift team in our Heber City, Utah, warehouse. This unique position combines hands-on assembly work with the operation, programming, and troubleshooting of our collaborative robot (COBOT). This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week (6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.), Monday - Friday, with a set schedule that keeps your evenings, weekends, and holidays free! Pay starts at $18 per hour. If hired as an Assembler/Automation Technician, you will split your time between operating our collaborative robot (COBOT) and traditional assembly work, which includes reading part schematics and packing jobs for shipment across multiple assembly products. You will receive training on how to operate and program the COBOT for various assembly tasks and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with machines, tinkering, and problem-solving when things don't go as expected. From time to time, you may be expected to help in other areas as directed by your manager. As an Automation Technician, you are expected to: Be comfortable working alongside and operating automated/robotic equipment Enjoy troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they come up Perform basic programming or adjustments to the COBOT for different assembly tasks Notify appropriate personnel of recurring or unresolved technical issues Have a natural curiosity for how machines work and enjoy handson problemsolving when things don't go as expected As an assembler, you are expected to: Know how to use a tape measure Be comfortable using power tools Have good eyehand coordination Have basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Be able to do repetitive work for long periods of time Be aware of and maintain supply levels for the job you are currently working on Be willing to learn, and willing to make suggestions for improvement Be on feet all day on a concrete floor Lift up to 50 lbs. several times a day Work to MIRO safety standards Be tolerant of temperature swings (the warehouse is hot in summer and cool in winter) Keep work area clean, neat, and organized according to Lean principles About MIRO Industries Inc Since 1982, MIRO Industries has been the leading provider of rooftop support systems across the United States.
