Job summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a/an Debug Technician located in Salt Lake City. Reporting to the Repair Center Supervisor, the Debug Technician role involves… What a typical day looks like: Troubleshoots and repair complex mechanical and electrical assemblies used in equipment at the component level. Operates electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes and conducts special tests as required. Provides technical assistance and guidance to other technical personnel. Collaborates with engineering on functionality issues and procedure updates. Presents training, when necessary, to the new build and service assembler teams. Contributes to the development of work instructions, batch records, equipment logs, material specifications, and other history documents. Help monitor productivity of our equipment by tracking yields and equipment cycle rates. Assists with the installation, debugging, and validation of process equipment. Follow all safety guidelines and reports unsafe conditions to supervisor. Develops and maintains Debug Guide to troubleshoot PCBA. Provides training and PCBA debugging guidance to other debug technicians. The experience we're looking to add to our team: Typically requires 4-6 years of related experience. Demonstrates advanced technical skills which may be used to conduct on-the-job training and/or lead/guide with other employees. Highly skilled with the ability to move between projects. Demonstrates broad knowledge of functional techniques and has input to process improvement. New technologies and technological changes apply. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and customers. Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts and operations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
