We are seeking a full-time Electronics Repair Technician to support product quality and reliability across our production and service operations. In this role, you will perform hands-on troubleshooting, testing, and repair of electronic assemblies and systems. You'll work closely with engineering to identify issues, improve product quality, and ensure our equipment meets performance standards before reaching customers. Key Responsibilities Test production and refurbished systems to verify performance and functionality Diagnose and repair returned units, ensuring they meet quality standards before shipment Troubleshoot electronic and basic mechanical issues down to the component level Identify root causes of failures and recommend corrective actions Route products for rework when needed and complete supporting documentation Maintain accurate repair logs, reports, and quality records Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment Develop familiarity with Sunstone products to support effective testing and quality control Collaborate with engineering to improve product reliability and manufacturability Qualifications 2+ years of hands-on experience in electronics repair, manufacturing, or a related field Associate's degree or technical training in electronics (preferred, not required) Experience using diagnostic tools (multimeter; oscilloscope a plus) Basic soldering and rework skills preferred Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems independently Comfortable using computers and standard software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Good communication skills and willingness to learn
