Position Title:
Industrial Maintenance Technician III /Electro Mechanical Technician Industry:
Food Manufacturing Location:
Alexandria, Virginia Classification :
Full-Time /Non-Exempt Schedule:
First Shift- 7:30am
- 3:30pm Jones Networking is recruiting for an Industrial Maintenance Technician III / Electro Mechanical Technician to join a food production facility in Alexandria, VA.
Electro Mechanical Technician Position Summary:
- Responsible for repairing and installing advanced production / manufacturing equipment.
- Inspect equipment for proper functioning and perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer's specifications.
- May mentor and provide support to less experienced mechanics.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and make repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance on more advanced/sophisticated production equipment.
- Perform repairs on more advanced production equipment as needed.
- Perform breakdown analysis.
- Direct activities of outside contractors working on assigned line.
- Change line for package changeovers and enforce GMP, safety and audit standards.
Qualifications Summary:
- Experience with basic electrical systems (starters, fuses, contacts, relay) and more advanced electrical systems (installation, frequency drive, troubleshooting).
- Experience reading product manuals and applying knowledge to make repairs.
- Hand-on experience with schematics (e.g., electrical blueprints with switches, starters, maps, relays).
- Strong experience troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing mechanical breakdowns.
- Electromechanics controls experience and programming preferred.
