Summary Delta Automation Inc. is seeking an experienced Bench Repair Technician / Electronic Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electronic equipment at the component level. This position is ideal for someone with strong electronic troubleshooting skills who enjoys hands-on repair work and identifying the root cause of equipment failures. The technician will work primarily in a bench repair environment servicing a variety of industrial electronic components and equipment. Primary Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electronic equipment to the component level. Inspect and test electronic assemblies, circuit boards, power supplies, drives, controls, and related equipment. Identify failed or damaged electronic components using appropriate diagnostic and testing equipment. Remove and replace defective components, including soldered and surface-mount components as applicable. Perform soldering, desoldering, and electronic component replacement. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and other electronic documentation. Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, and other electronic test equipment to diagnose equipment failures. Test repaired equipment to verify proper operation and quality before returning it to the customer. Accurately document repairs performed, components replaced, testing results, and other relevant repair information. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe bench/work area. Work with other technicians and team members to troubleshoot complex or unfamiliar equipment. Follow established quality, safety, and repair procedures. Education and Experience Several years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment at the component level . Strong understanding of electronic components, circuits, and troubleshooting techniques. Experience reading electronic schematics and technical documentation. Proficiency with electronic diagnostic and test equipment. Strong soldering and component replacement skills. Ability to independently troubleshoot equipment and determine the cause of electronic failures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to manage multiple repairs and prioritize workload effectively. Preferred Qualifications Experience repairing industrial electronic equipment. Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs), servo drives, motor controls, PLCs, HMIs, power supplies, or industrial control equipment. Experience with both through-hole and surface-mount component repair. Previous experience working in an industrial electronics repair or automation environment.
