  • -Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred), Associate's degree in a STEM field (Engineering or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Technology preferred) with 1+ years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word Responsibilities
  • -Assembling new devices, test fixtures, and experimental laboratory setups
  • Executing laboratory tests and standardized test methods and accurately recording data
  • Recognizing abnormal test or equipment behavior, troubleshooting minor issues, and escalating concerns when necessary.
  • Performing preventive maintenance on laboratory puff machines (weekly, monthly, semiannual)
  • Conducting laboratory equipment calibrations per established schedules
  • Maintaining and operating 3D printers, including routine upkeep and basic troubleshooting
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace
  • Following all safety procedures when working with chemicals, tools, and powered equipment Top Skills for an ideal candidate
  • -Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude using hand tools and electrical/mechanical test equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and/or electrical schematics
  • Experience conducting test trials and recording data accurately
