An Electronics Technician helps engineers design and develop electrical and electronic equipment. Assists with diagrams and specifications for design, construction of product prototypes, testing and calibration, technical problem solving, equipment repair and maintenance while ensuring regulatory safety standards are met.
Install cabling and card readers, mount equipment, door contact and strikes, intrusion detection, CCTV equipment, and access control systems Possess a functional understanding of low voltage systems and relays Use diagnostic equipment/software and established troubleshooting techniques to isolate equipment failures and resolve performance issues Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, wiring diagrams, and other specifications Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma and/or equivalent vocational training preferred Current DCJS registration and/or ability to obtain Minimum 2 years of experience in the electronics field, with commercial Access Control, and CCTV Technical background in
