Job Requirements Wallops Island, VA Secret Polygraph Unspecified Career Level not specified Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description The Electronics Technician will perform comprehensive equipment and system level maintenance on all CEC systems at the AEGIS and SSDS facilities. Provide system/equipment configuration and operational support for all deployed baseline AEGIS and SSDS variants. Schedule planned maintenance actions utilizing the SKED program in accordance with the Navy's Maintenance Material Management (3M) system and also be responsible for documenting all maintenance actions, including repair part requisitions, using the OMNS-NG program. High School/GED and more than three years of demonstrated experience assessing, troubleshooting, and performing corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance on systems and equipment. PQS 301 qualification is required. If selected candidate is not PQS 301 qualified on or before hire date, he/she must be willing and able to obtain PQS 301 qualification within 3 months of employment. Must be able to obtain a Secret level security clearance. Preferred Qualifications Active DoD Secret security clearance. Certified ETA Fiber Optic Installer. Experience trouble shooting and repairing Low Level Serial and Parallel interface cables. Experience with Network devices and an understanding of Operating Systems, preferably RedHat or UNIX. The anticipated pay for this role is $34.09/hr + H&W $5.09/hr. Equal Opportunity Employer.
