Process Automation Technician Posted on May 12, 2025 May 12, 2025 by JMJ Phillip We are seeking highly skilled Process Automation Technicians to join our client's team and support the development, optimization, and maintenance of automated production systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that automated processes operate efficiently, troubleshooting any issues, and ensuring that production runs smoothly. Position Responsibilities Process Automation Support Assist in the setup, maintenance, and optimization of automated manufacturing systems Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated equipment, sensors, and controls Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform regular maintenance checks on automation systems to ensure reliability and reduce downtime Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and software issues and provide timely resolutions Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for process improvement System Optimization & Efficiency Identify opportunities to improve automation systems for better production flow Implement solutions to increase system reliability and efficiency Collaboration & Documentation Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and production teams to support ongoing operations Document maintenance and troubleshooting activities and maintain accurate records of interventions Prerequisites Experience working with process automation and manufacturing systems Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and automation systems Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle complex technical challenges Flexibility to work different shifts, including Pitman Day and Pitman Night shifts Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required) Certification in Process Automation or a related field is preferred Technical training in electrical, mechanical, or automation systems is a plus What the Role Offers Competitive salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 annually 20% permanent placement fee Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off and holiday benefits Opportunities for career growth and working with advanced automation systems Why Burlington?
