This role includes inspecting gaming installations, managing the inventory of tools and supplies, and keeping accurate records of service maintenance. The technician also supports the gaming floor by stocking pit podiums with supplies, cleaning, and replacing shufflers. Flexibility and attention to detail are key, as additional duties may be assigned to maintain seamless and engaging operations. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and customer service skills, with a solid understanding of casino policies, gaming regulations, and internal controls. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software is essential, along with excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively. Critical thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot using hand and power tools are key, as well as maintaining meticulous records. This role requires professionalism, confidentiality, and adaptability, whether working independently or as part of a team, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service. Experience & Requirements:
REQUIRED
High School Diploma or GED equivalent Associate's degree in electronics engineering, a related field or an electronics technical training program certification One year of electronics troubleshooting experience
PREFERRED
Carpentry experience Gaming experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sitting/standing for up to 10 hours per day Gaming floor environment Walking/climbing Reaching/bending/crouching Pushing/pulling Hand eye coordination Use of eyesight Finger dexterity Concentrating in loud/busy situations Lifting items up to 75 lbs. Subject to a smoke-filled environment
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen and obtain a Class IIIA license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
