Job Description

The Tribal Lottery (TL) Technician Supervisor performs journey-level service, maintenance, repair, and modifications to the computerized gaming devices and related components of the casino and provide direction, assistance, and training to other TL staff. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Two years of training in a related field required and a Technical degree preferred. Three years of gaming experience is required. Experience in bench technical repairs; repair of motors, bill validators, printers, and processor boards is required. One year experience as a TL Technician or prior experience in a supervisor or lead role required. Additional education or related experience may substitute for the minimum requirements of the position.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time; use of hand eye coordination; use of eye sight; finger dexterity; lifting, bending, carrying, stooping, walking, pushing or moving supplies, materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds; and concentrating in loud and busy situations in a smoke-filled casino environment.
COMPETENCIES
The TL Technician Supervisor must possess experience and extensive knowledge of servicing, maintaining, repairing, and modifying computerized gaming equipment, including machine installation, networking, and configuration. A strong understanding of gaming devices, power supply repair, board-level CPU repair, machine installation and networking as well as strong verbal and written communication skills in addition to casino policies is essential. This role requires exceptional troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills, along with proficiency in operating a wide range of tools and equipment. The ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues, maintain detailed service records, train new technicians, and adhere to manufacturer guidelines and established procedures is critical to success in this position.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Provides training and guidance to TL staff 2. Assists supervisors with performance evaluations of TL staff 3. Performs technical service and repair work as required by the department 4. Diagnoses player terminal malfunctions and takes necessary actions in order to repair 5. Performs basic maintenance on sports wagering kiosks including clearing bill jams and other placement errors and basic failures 6. Maintains available records of parts installed, modified, repaired, or destroyed in the service and repair of all gaming products 7. Coordinates with the TL Specialist to ensure an adequate inventory of supplies needed for operation and repair is maintained 8. Participates in the replacement of Logic boards, EPROM's, and related electronic components for the repair of all gaming equipment 9. Performs set up and configuration of all gaming products and the components of each game type is operating according to manufacturer's standards 10. Ensures service and repair assignments are in compliance with adopted Casino and departmental policies and procedures 11. Works with minimal direction and supervision and meets deadlines in a timely manner 12. Anticipates and performs preventative maintenance work on all gaming equipment as necessary 13. Performs other job related duties as assigned
