$96,000 - $180,000 per year (based on full time hours worked) Knudtsen Foothills Mazda & Lincoln is seeking an experienced Foreman to join our growing service team. This is not a traditional supervisory position. We're looking for a highly skilled technician who wants to serve as the shop's primary diagnostic resource while helping fellow technicians improve their skills and repair accuracy. You will perform advanced diagnostics, assist technicians with complex repairs, and help ensure vehicles are repaired correctly the first time. This role combines hands-on diagnostics with technical leadership and mentorship, making it ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys solving difficult problems and helping others succeed. What You'll Own Advanced diagnosis of electrical, drivability, programming, network, and communication concerns Diagnostic and repair support for Mazda and Lincoln vehicles Module programming, software updates, calibrations, and relearns Complex electrical and network system troubleshooting Technician coaching and diagnostic mentoring Quality control and repair verification Collaboration with Service Advisors, Parts, Dispatch, and Service Management Support for workflow efficiency and technician productivity First-time fix performance and reduction of technician comebacks Maintenance of OEM diagnostic and training certifications What We're Looking For 8-10 years of hands-on automotive repair and diagnostic experience Ford, Lincoln, import, or multi-brand diagnostic experience preferred Demonstrated expertise in gasoline and applicable hybrid powertrain diagnostics and repair Advanced proficiency in electrical diagnostics, module programming, and network systems Strong diagnostic reasoning and troubleshooting abilities Proven leadership and mentoring skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Understanding of technician productivity, efficiency, and workflow management Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience with Dealertrack and OEM diagnostic platforms preferred What We Offer Competitive compensation Sign-on and retention bonus opportunities Paid training and OEM certification support Medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents Life insurance Paid holidays Sick pay Paid vacation Employee vehicle purchase discounts 401(k) with 4% employer match Training and education assistance Join Our Team!
