We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electronics Controls Technician to join our dynamic team. The Electronics Controls Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and electronic equipment in a manufacturing environment. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring optimal performance of industrial control systems, PLCs, and various electronic components while maintaining safety standards and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
        Key Responsibilities:
        Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, drives, vision systems, and industrial electrical equipment to ensure reliable operations. Program and modify PLC logic, maintain system backups, and support automation improvements. Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and advanced diagnostics to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability. Lead electrical upgrades, controls projects, and system integrations to enhance production efficiency. Ensure OSHA, Arc Flash, and Lockout/Tagout compliance through audits, documentation, and safety initiatives. Train maintenance teams and collaborate with engineers, vendors, and contractors to resolve electrical and mechanical issues. ​Other duties as assigned
        Education & Experience:
        High school diploma/GED (Electronics Technology degree desired) or Apprentice completion in electrical trades or hands on experience as Electronics Technician preferred
        Required Skills:
        Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting Proficiency in Mechanical Skills Strong knowledge of industrial controls and automation Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, or similar PLC platforms Expertise in electrical/electronic systems troubleshooting Understanding of NEC electrical codes Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Industrial electronics expertise Servo and drive systems Electrical safety knowledge Training capabilities Problem-solving ability
        Additional Requirements:
        Must be 18 years of age Must pass pre-employment assessment Drug screening required Background check required

        Basic Welding & Sheet Metal Fabrication Knowledge Continuous Improvement & Manufacturing Systems Support Physical Demands:
        The associate will be exposed to the manufacturing environment where hazards and requirements may include but are not limited to: Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Standing/walking for extended periods Working in various positions (bending, kneeling, reaching) Required to lift, bend, crouch, reach, twist, and crawl. Exposure to manufacturing environment (noise, heat, chemicals) May require working in confined spaces Required to work in high places. Required to ascend and descend ladders safely. Ability to safely operate mobile equipment. Ability to wear respiratory protection as needed Ability to wear ARC flash equipment Ability to wear required PPE (hearing protection, steel-toe shoes, safety glasses)
        Travel Requirements:
        Travel is not required in this position.
        Work Conditions:
        The majority of tasks will be performed in a manufacturing setting with potential exposure to: Noise levels above 85 dB Operation of complex machinery Solvents, fumes and inks Concrete floors, roof areas Working at heights, hot work Works near energized and moving equipment Variable Temperatures Must be able to work flexible shifts May require nights, weekends, and holidays. An additional $2.50/hr premium for hours worked on NIGHT Shift only (6pm - 6am).
