About the Role We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to ensure the optimal functionality of our facility's equipment and systems. In this role, you'll be instrumental in maintaining operational uptime through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and implementing improvements. Your expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems will be essential to our success. Responsibilities Execute and refine the preventative maintenance program, leveraging ERP systems to track and schedule tasks. Diagnose and repair a wide array of manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and robotic systems, to minimize downtime. Fabricate and modify equipment using welding, cutting, and assembly techniques to meet specific operational needs. Manage spare parts inventory by specifying and ordering replacement components, ensuring timely availability for repairs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address equipment-related issues and implement effective solutions. Maintain detailed documentation of equipment modifications and custom builds for future reference and troubleshooting. Qualifications Required Skills Technical degree (two-year) with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a High School diploma/GED with 9+ years of experience in a maintenance role. Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to interpret and work from blueprints and technical diagrams. Solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and robotics. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols. Preferred Skills Formal training in hydraulic and electrical systems. Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles. Experience with ISO quality management systems.
