PLC/HMI Maintenance and Commissioning Specialist

Job Description

PLC/HMI Maintenance and Commissioning Specialist Do you troubleshoot PLC faults without breaking a sweat? Can you read a schematic, trace a sensor signal, and bring a new drive online confidently? Ready to support a global manufacturing leader while working with cutting-edge automation?
Why This Role Pay Rate:
$50-$55/hour (DOE)
Per Diem:
$120/day for hotel and meals
Schedule:
1st Shift, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday (overtime as needed) Collaborate with a global leader in metals and automation manufacturing Hands-on access to advanced PLC, HMI, and industrial automation technologies
What You'll Do Troubleshoot & Maintain:
Diagnose and repair issues on PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, and industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Profinet).
Optimize:
Update control logic and tune PID loops to improve quality and throughput.
Stay Safe:
Enforce LOTO and arc flash safety procedures across all tasks.
Commission:
Support startup, testing, and debugging for newly integrated automation equipment. What You'll Need 1-5
Years' Experience:
Industrial PLC/automation exposure with Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, or Schneider in a production environment.
Controls Skill Set:
Read electrical schematics; troubleshoot sensors; configure HMIs with Wonderware or FactoryTalk View.
Education:
Two‑year technical/college degree or comparable training/military background.
Availability:
