Electrical System Designer We are in search of an experienced Electrical System Designer to provide technical leadership for industrial electrical, automation, and process-control systems in a manufacturing environment located in Mobile, AL. The main responsibilities will include designing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing plant electrical and control systems, ensuring they meet applicable standards and regulations. Key Duties Designing, programming, and optimizing ControlLogix, SIMATIC S7/TIA Portal, and Mitsubishi PLC systems. Configuring and maintaining Yokogawa Distributed Control Systems. Maintaining SCADA interfaces and process-data collection systems. Performing calibration oversight and logic tuning for process controls. Overseeing power-distribution systems, substations, and infrastructure. Managing electrical design projects from concept to completion. Developing technical specifications and documentation using AutoCAD. Providing troubleshooting and analysis for electrical system issues. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5-10+ years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical system design. Proficiency in PLC, automation, instrumentation, and power-distribution systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and contractors. Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software. Physical Demands Regular movement within the industrial facility, occasional lifting, and prolonged computer work may be required for this position.
