About the Role As a Lead Industrial Electrical Technician, you will spearhead the maintenance and optimization of complex plant infrastructure to ensure peak operational uptime. You will leverage your expertise in PLC programming, VFDs, and high-voltage systems to drive equipment reliability and lead a high-performing technical team. Responsibilities Direct and mentor technical staff to foster a culture of safety, precision, and operational excellence. Execute advanced troubleshooting on electrical and electronic systems, including servo motors and industrial robotics. Design and implement preventive maintenance strategies to minimize production bottlenecks and extend equipment lifecycle. Manage electrical projects involving conduit installation, schematic interpretation, and NEC compliance. Coordinate rapid-response repairs for critical equipment failures to maintain continuous production flow. Oversee spare parts procurement and maintain rigorous documentation of maintenance logs and work orders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate continuous improvement initiatives into daily workflows. Qualifications Required Skills 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance or heavy manufacturing environments. Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity. Expertise in 480V systems, PLC programming, and electrical schematic analysis. Strong understanding of LOTO protocols and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Proficiency with CMMS software and Microsoft Office suite. Preferred Skills Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology or related field. Hands-on experience with CAD software and industrial automation systems. Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and cost-reduction projects. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple technical priorities.
