full-time Position Summary In this role, you will be working as a SW engineer in the lab & field test team working in various wireless test programs. The work will involve RF test system design, test setup, test scripts development, test automation & maintenance, test results processing and presentation, hands-on integration, test execution and validation of various wireless test equipment & systems in the lab and field. This is an entry level position, and recent graduates are welcome to apply. Responsibilities Work with team on various wireless test scenarios across various equipment and test setups to support test execution. Design and implement optimal and efficient RF test systems based on requirements Develop and execute automation/analysis test tools/scripts and collect test data for analysis Analyze methods and develop tools/scripts to automate test data processing and present test results Improve the overall test efficiency and scalability using AI tools and agents Desired Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical or Telecommunications or Wireless Engineering or Computer Science Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills Python programming skills and experience Basic Git distributed version control knowledge Wireless transmitter/receiver and test equipment fundamentals Wireless system design and engineering skills, including but not limited to RF link budgets and propagation models, are desirable Ability to develop and maintain Python scripts/programs for automation of control and logging with test equipment and embedded platforms Experience with using and controlling verification test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes is a must. 4G/5G BTS/UE emulators, advanced signal generators are a plus Experience coding with Python is a must, other programming languages such as

C/C++, MATLAB

is a plus Coursework with lab experience in (digital and analog) in RF systems, communications and signal processing Punctual, attention to detail/quality, systematic analysis, pride of ownership and accountability Good communication skills (oral and written) and ability to work with different teams Experience with popular AI tools and agents Work Environment The work location is in NextNav office in Santa Clara, CA. Some work could be in the field. Some long-distance travel may be required A valid driver's license and ability to drive
