This position requires 4+ years of electrical engineering experience including at least 2+ years of experience in the medical device industry to be considered. Job Overview The Electrical Engineer will lead and perform the design, development and integration of complex medical systems, ensuring compliance with electrical performance, safety, and EMC standards. This role requires a strong technical foundation and innovative problem-solving skills. The Electrical Engineer will drive technical decisions, mentor junior engineers, and contribute strategically to product development while maintaining a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities Lead the design and development of electrical subsystems by analyzing customer requirements, researching, and validating manufacturing and assembly methods and materials. Oversee the evaluation of electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting detailed analyses. Develop and implement testing methodologies to confirm system and component capabilities, including simulation, prototyping, debugging, and performance validation. Ensure product quality and reliability through comprehensive design verification and validation processes. Generate detailed product documentation, reports, and technical summaries to capture trends and insights for continuous improvement. Drive the optimization and enhancement of existing electronic designs to improve performance and manufacturability. Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of defective products, implementing effective corrective actions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or other relevant field, master's degree preferred. 4+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering. 2+ years of experience in the development of medical device system for EP applications Proficiency in electronics design tools such as schematic capture (Altium, Orcad). Extensive experience working with SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet and other interface protocols. Strong understanding of PLL, DDS, ADC, DAC, power supply design and monitoring. Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) SoCs and DSP filters, preferred. Experience developing system with low noise characteristics, preferred. Experience working in a startup environment, involved in all phases of design control, preferred.Pay:
